Even Further is the first Amer 42 Explorer and the first steel yacht completed by Amer Yachts. The 41.45-metre custom explorer combines a steel displacement hull and aluminium superstructure with Volvo Penta's IPS Professional Platform, giving the yacht an unusually efficient long-range propulsion arrangement for a vessel of her size and displacement.
Even Further was created as the founding yacht in Amer's custom steel explorer line. Her exterior and interior were designed by Luiz de Basto Designs, with engineering and naval architecture by Optima Design Italy.
The yacht has a reported beam of 9.67 metres, a draught of 2.43 metres and an internal volume of approximately 471 GT. Amer reports a full-load displacement of approximately 440 tonnes. The steel hull is paired with an aluminium superstructure and teak decks, while Ice Class capability supports the yacht's intended long-distance cruising role.
Propulsion is provided by four Volvo Penta D13 IMO Tier III diesel engines connected to two IPS40 pod drives through the Volvo Penta IPS Professional Platform. The forward-facing, counter-rotating propellers are integrated into a system that can operate on two engines at lower speeds, while the other two remain available in active redundancy.
In Eco Mode, Amer recorded 9.5 knots at approximately 60 litres of diesel per hour. With a fuel capacity of 56,300 litres, the builder calculates a theoretical range of up to 8,900 nautical miles in this operating mode. Amer recorded a cruising speed of 14 knots and a maximum speed of 16.3 knots during trials.
Even Further accommodates up to ten guests in five guest cabins, supported by accommodation for eight crew. The layout was developed for extended family cruising rather than highly formal entertaining.
Her exterior arrangement includes a 17-metre flybridge, a touch-and-go helicopter area on the foredeck and space for two substantial tenders. Two integrated cranes, each reported with an 8,000-kilogram lifting capacity, support tender and equipment handling while allowing the yacht to retain a clean superyacht profile.
Even Further was delivered in July 2026 and entered her first Mediterranean cruising season, with the yacht reported operating off Corsica. Delivery begins the practical test of Amer's long-range efficiency claims and marks the shipyard's move into larger custom steel explorer yachts.

Indicative SYG estimate. Value basis: Length-and-age model using length. Central annual OPEX uses the established 14% of estimated yacht value fallback, adjusted for yacht age where available. Low and high cases reflect utilisation, condition, crewing, fuel, berthing and maintenance uncertainty. Capital reserve is shown separately from routine OPEX. Figures must be replaced or upgraded when reported accounts, invoices, court records or other yacht-specific evidence is available.
